Steurer - Kathryn Miles

Kathryn Steurer, 65, of Reno, Nev., formerly of Darlington, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday in Reno Convelesent Center. She was a graduate of Bowers High School and the John Herron Art Institute. She retired April 16, 1979, from Nevada Bell Telephone Co. where she had been employed for 26 years. Born April 16, 1914, at Darlington, she was a daughter of Clarence and Aria Ferguson Miles. She was married to Frank Steurer at Reno June 6, 1945. Survivors include a son, Richard of Reno; a grandson, Christopher Ryan; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Lilly of Norfolk, Va., Mrs. Jean Williams of Indianapolis, Mrs. Norman (Norma) Hankins of Stockwell and Mrs. Joe (Patricia) Kirk of Darlington; and a brother, Frank Miles of Crawfordsville. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. – jlr
